Jade Warrior

An unprecedented collaboration between China and Finland Jade Warrior enacts a Finnish legend in the most innoactive way. Mixing Finnish ethograpic culture and chinese martial arts Jade Warrior features rising Chinese actress Zhang Jingchu and Finnish actor Tommi Eronen. The film consists of two inter related stories one set in anciet China and the other contemporary Finland. The film opens with a courageous warrior in China who is given the chance to acquire eternal life by defeating the devil. But he falls in love with a girl and opts for mortality in hopes of meeting his beloved agin after reincarnation. A millenium later a Finnish Blacksmith left alone after his girlfriends departure discovers the secret of his former life as a brave warrior. He knows he is destined to battle with the Devil once more.
