When it came to kung fu comedy only Alexander Fu Sheng could rival Jackie Chans abilities and popularity. Yet Alexander Fu Sheng was more adapt as an actor as in Hero Shed No Tears. He plays the son of a man who is supposed to die at the hand of a sword with a teardrop forged onto the blade. Its heroic bloodshed at its best as acclaimed fight instructor Tang Chia brings a certain mythos to Alexander Fu Sheng morbid avoiding character.
