  sonny chiba returns for a third time as ruthless karate master terry tsurgi in the street fighters last revenge. for this outing the films creators gave chiba a more james bondish; super spy persona complete with disguises and gadgets; that softened his brutal anti hero terry. the plot revolves around terrys efforts to retrieve a pair of recordings that when played together; will give the formula for a cheap synthetic heroin. when he gets double crossed by his employers he is determined to have his revenge. the street fighters last revenge was the last film where chiba would play the famous character and also stars sue shihomi; who would have her own trilogy of films as the sister street fighter.
