john liu and wong tao play rivals in search of a mutual foe the dreaded martial arts expert killer the silver fox (hwang jang lee). liu plays shao yi fei a loner who has created his deadly form of combat. the norther leg. he seeks revenge on the silver fox for having murdered both hie parents. wong tao plays sheng yuing wei otherwise known as souther fist a government law officer who is after the silver fox for his part in a bullion robbery. in the quert for justice the secret rivals fate becomes intertwined and the duo end up confronting each other more than once. however it turns out that alone the rivals are no match for the silver fox. only by teaming up can northern leg and southern fist have a hope in hell of overcoming the foxs might kicks.
